Our kids club rider Cameron Mason has won the National Clarion Harold Lamb award for most Meritorious Junior.
Each year the award is given to an outstanding junior rider for cycling well but also for having a good attitude towards riding, the club and fellow cyclists.
Cameron thoroughly deserves the award, he has produced some excellent performances both in Cyclo Cross and MTB racing. He also attends training sessions and has a great enthusiasm for the sport.
Cameron is still only 10 but regularly races against children who are a lot older than him.
West Lothian Clarion is a section of the The National Clarion along with 25 other sections from across the UK. Youth membership of the National Clarion is at its highest level for many years, making Cameron's award all the more impressive
The Award will be presented at the National Clarion Easter Meet Champions Banquet in Stirling on Sunday 24th April
