On Wednesday we have the first race in kids club race series - a 'crit' race (circuit race) will take place at Oracle, and then on Thursday Johnstone Jets have organised a crit race at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow
Wednesday
Club confined Kids club races
Oracle, Blackness Road, Linlithgow
Please arrive promptly by 6.20 for a 6.30 start
PREPARATION:
1. Make sure your child has been to the toilet
2. Your child has gloves or cycle mits
3. Your child is wearing a helmet
4. Your child has suitable clothes for the weather and to wear between races
5. Drink and snack - to be consumed between races
RACES
Race 1: Time trial
Each rider will complete a 1 lap individual time trial
Race 2: Circuit Race
Youth E (7 and under) = 8 laps
Race 3: Circuit Race
Youth D (9 and under)+ C (11 and under) + B (13 and under) = 15 laps
Although ages are grouped together in the races, the children are competing against each other in their age categories.
HELP
We are looking for parents to help as marshals and lap counters.
