Clarion Racers Jamie and Cameron competed in the recent 2 day event held by Peebles Cycling Club at Glentress.The event was as popular as ever with 12o racers aged 5 to 16.
All riders competed in 5 races over the 2 days.
- Cross Country
- Hill Climb
- Downhill
- Time Trial
- Dirt Crit
Both boys had a great weekend with Cameron coming 7th overall and Jamie getting a well deserved podium in 3rd.
Jamie managed to win his age category in the downhill and was actually the 2nd fastest overall in the downhill across all age groups. A perfect end to the MTB season and looking good for the cross racing which starts soon.
PCC had secured some great prizes and goody bags for all participants. To top it all they got to watch the start of the Tour of Britain !
