Santa Cyclo Cross

The club will decamp to Kinneil House for the final and most fun event of the year on Saturday 3rd December.

The session will start at the usual time of 9.00am

After the races we'll be having a prize presentation for the 5 race series and spot prizes, with a top secret special guest presenting the awards

There will be cakes, hot drinks and mulled wine for the mums and dads - we ask parents to bring a cake to share on the day

An adult race will take place at 11.00am - sign on 10.30 for mums and dads and club members

Location

Kinneil Woods, Boness 

Arrival

The start of the race is adjacent to the car park, please be there 5 minutes early to allow you to sign on and get your number . Event starts at 9am

Parking

There is a concealed entrance to a car park off Provost Road , the same carpark as used for the hill climb

Toilets

Please make sure you child had been to the toilet before arriving. There is a ‘Superloo’ toilet just off Provost Road, beside the larger car park at Kinneil Woods.

Stay and Cheer

Please stay and cheer the riders the riders  - making as much noise as you can!

Type of Bike

The course is all off road with a mixture of paths and natural off road sections. Whilst a cyclocross would be ideal for the course it could be ridden on a mountainbike bike.

Marshals

We will require parent helpers to marshal the course, Ewen will had out tasks on the day.

The race

Riders will be set off in groups based on age category first across the line wins.

Clothing

Make sure your rider has suitable clothing for the weather conditions, in particular a warm top like a fleece to wear after the race and a water proof

jacket incase it rains
